Bruce Shealy - Project: Midas Resto-Mod
Finally got the 77 Midas Street Machine Restoration started yesterday. 345 TF727 and virtually no rust Nevada Scout, has only been in the Southeast since 1996, so I dont have to fight the usual tub rust issues. Will be yanking out the 345 this week and stripping the engine bay and interior. We are going to be keeping this Scout as close to the original theme as is possible, but with some 21st Century items thrown in here and there. Starting with a few images here, more to come Wednesday.
Hopefully all this will be done and the Scout will be off to Pedro's for paint in May, then back to the Garagemahal for final assembly. i am excited to get this one done. Ill be sharing the saga here, so enjoy. |
